Archiving and Repository Policy

ARCHIVING

The journal has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journals via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.

REPOSITORY

The journal is following Sherpa/Romeo’s policy. The published version is openly accessible and can be located or deposited at any repository, any website, or journal website (refer to the JREP website). The journal allows and encourages authors to distribute their manuscripts electronically (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published works. We believe that this can increase the impact of research and its visibility. After the manuscript has been accepted for publication, authors are allowed to use their manuscript openly and freely on the website, and on other institutional repositories or personal websites, provided that they acknowledge the original source of publication in the JREP.
