Guidelines for Conference Organizers
15-09-2025
Conference organizers are invited to submit research outputs from their events for potential publication in the Journal of Technology-Assisted Learning. To be eligible, conferences must meet the following requirements:
- The primary focus of the conference should be the presentation of academic research.
- Participants and/or speakers must represent an international background, primarily from research institutions.
- The conference must be overseen by an international committee consisting of experts in the relevant field.
- The program should cover a range of academic topics for discussion and presentation.
Advantages of publishing conference proceedings with JTAL include:
- Open Access: Free and unlimited access for all readers.
- High visibility: Each published article will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), making it citable and accessible.
- No space or color limitations: There are no restrictions on the number of papers per issue, the number of figures, or the use of color.
All conferences are expected to comply with the following standards:
- Papers must be reviewed impartially, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political views of the authors.
- Reviewers should provide both a recommendation and detailed feedback for each submission.
- Editors and organizers may only accept papers when there is clear and substantiated support from reviewers.
Manuscripts submitted to JTAL must uphold the highest standards of publication ethics, including:
- Submissions must present original research that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere, in whole or in part.
- Manuscripts must be original and should not reproduce text from other sources without proper citation.
- Reported studies must comply with widely accepted ethical standards for research.
